Online Psychotherapy for Adults Across the UK
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected?
As a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, I offer online therapy for adults across the UK, creating a confidential, collaborative space to explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and the support of another person alongside you.
You may be looking for support if…
Sometimes, people considering therapy have a clear understanding of what they’re finding difficult. Just as often, they have a sense that something isn't quite right, without knowing how to explain it.
You don't need to have a clear explanation or find the right words before coming to therapy. It can be enough simply to recognise that you've been struggling, that life feels harder than it used to, or that you'd like things to feel different.
Perhaps some of these experiences resonate with you:
You feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained.
You're finding it difficult to cope with significant changes in your life, such as a bereavement, the end of a relationship, or losing a job.
You’re finding that your relationships frequently feel confusing or difficult.
You feel alone with your thoughts or experiences, even when you're around other people.
You long for closer friendships or a romantic relationship, but aren't sure how to build the connections you're looking for.
You find yourself caught in cycles of self-criticism or feeling that there is something fundamentally ‘wrong’ with you.
You're trying to make sense of difficult past experiences or the impact they continue to have on you.
You've spent much of your life feeling different, misunderstood, or as though you don't quite fit in.
You suspect or know that ADHD or another form of neurodivergence is part of your experience, and you'd like support in understanding yourself more fully.
You've been working hard to understand or overcome your difficulties for a long time, but nothing you've tried has led to the kind of change you were hoping for.
Whether or not you recognise yourself in the examples above, therapy offers a confidential, supportive environment to explore whatever has brought you here at a pace that feels manageable.
My Approach
I believe the relationship we build in therapy is central to meaningful change. Many of us spend years trying to make sense of ourselves through criticism, labels, or assumptions about what is ‘wrong with us’. Therapy offers an opportunity to begin understanding your experience with someone alongside you, rather than feeling you have to work it all out alone.
I aim to offer a supportive and accepting space where you can feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. From there, we can begin making sense of your experiences through curiosity and compassion, rather than judgement. I work in a relational and integrative way, drawing primarily on humanistic and psychodynamic traditions while remaining informed by contemporary research into areas such as trauma and neurodiversity.
Rather than assuming there is one correct explanation for your experiences, or offering fixed interpretations, I believe therapy is a collaborative process of exploring what feels meaningful, authentic, and helpful for you. Over time, this process can help you develop a greater sense of self-understanding and self-compassion, strengthen your inner resources, and move towards a life that feels more connected, peaceful, and fulfilling.
How Therapy Works
1. First Contact
The easiest way to get started is by booking a free 20-minute introductory video conversation through my online booking system. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what has led you to consider therapy, answer any initial questions, and consider whether working together feels right for you.
If you'd prefer, you're also welcome to get in touch using the contact form, and I'll respond as soon as I can.
2. Our First Session
If you decide you'd like to proceed, we'll arrange our first full 50-minute therapy session. This is an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for from the process, and any further questions you may have.
3. Working Together
If we both feel we're a good fit, we'll agree a regular weekly appointment time and begin our work together. Our work develops gradually, at a pace that feels manageable, with regular opportunities to reflect on how therapy is progressing and whether it continues to feel helpful for you.
About Me & My Practice
I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist providing online therapy for adults across the UK. My practice is grounded in thoughtful, collaborative care, with the aim of creating a space where people feel able to reflect on their experiences and develop a deeper understanding of themselves over time.
I hold an MSc in Psychotherapy and an LLM in Health Care Ethics and Law. Alongside my clinical work, I am committed to ongoing professional development and regular clinical supervision, helping to ensure that my practice remains ethical, reflective, and evidence-informed.
While I work with a wide range of experiences, I have a particular interest in areas such as anxiety and emotional overwhelm, shame and self-criticism, the lasting impact of childhood experiences, identity and self-understanding, and the experiences of neurodivergent people.
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and finding someone you feel comfortable talking to can make an important difference. If you're considering therapy and would like to explore whether we might work well together, you're very welcome to arrange a free introductory conversation.
